Kyle Landry is a classically trained pianist and composer from Methuen, Massachusetts. His career in music spans over 15 years, and includes original works for film, animation, video games, and his own album releases. He holds a degree in Composition from the Hartt School of Music where he studied under concert pianist, David Westfall.
His passion for playing has generated a large fan base on Youtube, where he regularly posts videos to share with the world… some of which have generated millions of views. Many of these videos are a result of his passion for arranging songs for solo piano. Some of the most popular arrangements include video game and anime music.
Currently, Kyle spends the majority of his time teaching piano to a select group of students from around the world. When he is not teaching, he performs at a variety of events such as weddings, private concerts, and conventions, including one of his favorite events the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
Kyle cites his number one musical influence as Frédéric François Chopin. Other admired composers include J.S. Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel, Franz Liszt, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Peter Tchaikovsky, Alan Menken, Joe Hisaishi, Nobuo Uematsu, Koji Kondo, Grant Kirkhope, Jeremy Soule, Nikolai Kapustin, among many others.
